We understand why people tend to exaggerate their lives on social media. If you don’t have a very interesting life or want to impress those around you, it’s so easy to make a few things up and hope that you don’t get caught out.
However, the first rule of lying online is that you have to at least make it realistic. When this person tried to show off his athleticism, he probably should have done his research. Either that or he really did set a brand new world record at lightning speed.
