After playing 18 seasons for the Utah Jazz, Malone played his final season with the Lakers, in an attempt to acquire the elusive championship he so direly wanted. A true model of consistency, Malone was a 14-time All-Star during his 19 professional seasons. He received NBA MVP honors twice during his illustrious career.
