It must be a great honor, finishing the 1972 season and years later landing on the belly of a Dolphins superfan. The fan and the tattoo were shown on the CBS broadcast and were then immortalized when the shot was broadcast on a segment of ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown titled C’Mon Man. As for the theme of the tattoo, the undefeated, the fan definitely got that part right. But unforgotten? They’ll never be forgotten now that the world was introduced to this tattoo.
