Selena’s relationship with Zedd might have been brief, but the one that followed wasn’t quite as short. At the start of 2017, it emerged that the singer was dating fellow artist Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd.

The two were very close throughout the year, sharing various social media posts together and going public to events like the Met Gala and Coachella as a pair. However, once again, it wasn’t meant to be. Trying to make things work long-distance proved to be too difficult, so they ended things in October that year.
