Two teammates, Grant Hill and Steve Nash, confirmed the story. As they told it, Giriček was jawing just a bit too much in a closed practice. Shaq told him to shut up. When he didn’t, the big man – an avid pro wrestling fan – put him in a sleeper hold until he passed out.
