[post_page_title]Brett Favre is NOT a diva[/post_page_title]
During his 20-year career, quarterback Brett Favre has notched up some eye-popping achievements. Super Bowl champion? Check. Eleven Pro Bowl selections? Check and check. Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee? Naturally. But during his sole season with the New York Jets, in 2008, Favre was crowned with a new title – diva! Some late-season stumbles led his Jets teammates to bash him publicly.
One said he was “distant,” while another accused him of never socializing with fellow offensive linesmen. When Favre signed with the Minnesota Vikings the following year, however, his new teammates were quick to call shenanigans. In his first huddle, for instance, Favre reportedly asked center John Sullivan to do one simple thing – smile! The Vikings won that game.
