[post_page_title]Ronda Rousey’s former UFC colleagues don’t like her[/post_page_title]
Ronda Rousey is now a WWE wrestler, but in the not-too-distant past, she was the face of women’s mixed martial arts and the UFC’s first women’s bantamweight champion. Her meteoric rise to superstardom, however, has left more than a few colleagues and (former) associates a little miffed. Former champion Miesha Tate has accused Rousey of being handed things on a silver platter due to her marketability.
Former manager Darvin Harvey, meanwhile, didn’t mince words either, calling her a “monster” who believed she was “as special as the press made her out to be.” As for fellow UFC fighter Matt Brown, he said he didn’t “really have a lot of respect for Ronda,” whom he labeled a “quitter.”
