Born in Baghdad, Iraq, she left with her family during the Gulf War (her parents were actually captured and imprisoned by the regime of Saddam Hussein as they tried to escape). Nicknamed “Quiet Storm,” Markos knows how to utilize her long legs and huge reach to beat opponents, using a style which mixes wrestling and jiu-jitsu.
