The teens attended St Peter the Apostle High School in Clydebank, which is also where the church was based. So, it made sense to the teachers that they should have their prom night there instead.
They managed to throw something together last minute, bringing in a DJ and getting hold of some disco lights. It was the best they could do given the circumstances. It would give the teens an evening they could enjoy, even if it weren’t as grand as what they had initially promised.
