Jarome and Kara first got together in the 8th grade. Iginla jokes that they were on and off during these early days when Kara needed a break from him, however, they never moved on from one another. Since high school, Jarome went on to be a prominent figure in the NHL. He has more than 500 goals on the professional rink. The couple has three children together and they’re avid animal rights activists. Fame has never proved to powerful to separate them or make them turn away from their values.
