Invincible is a true tale about how no man is too old to chase his dreams. It’s the story of Vince Papale, a regular guy from Philly who at 30 years-old decided to attend an open practice for the Eagles. He made the team and played three seasons for Philly, 1976, ‘77 and ‘78. The mistake in the movie doesn’t have to do with Papale, but rather one of his teammates. In the film, Dennis Franks suggests that he is a veteran player on the team, but in real life, Franks was a rookie himself.
