Jim-Bob Walton, played by David W Harper, was the youngest boy of the Walton siblings, and a free-spirited dreamer always looking for something to do. The main interest that occupied Jim-Bob throughout the show was his interest in mechanics.
He was immensely talented when it came to mechanical and handiwork, even going so far as to build a car from spare parts at one point. Jim-Bob’s mechanical expertise eventually pays off, and he opens his own mechanics workshop.
