Amanda’s health was suffering. After a moment of joy and a call to her parents, she was airlifted to a nearby hospital where she was treated for all sorts of injuries. From falling from the cliff, she had fractured her leg, torn meniscus cartilage in her knee, and twisted her ankle.

She was also severely dehydrated and sunburnt. However, as Amanda lay in her hospital bed with a swarm of doctors and nurses tending to her, she lay there with a smile on her face. She was alive. She made it!
