Not thinking too much of it, she set off again in the right direction, or at least she thought it was the right way. After a minute or two of walking, Amanda’s instinct kicked in. She was going the wrong way, and she needed to turn around right away. Everything was telling her that the car was the other way, but she wasn’t quite sure why.

A life-changing decision

She stood still for a minute, looking around to really think about what way it was. But it was no good. Amanda felt lost. Every direction looked the same. Trying not to let fear take over, Amanda took a deep breath and started walking. She usually had a strong gut instinct, and so she said to herself: “My car is this way, and I’m going to keep going until I get there!”
