Fleetwood Mac had some of the most iconic impacts on rock history. They brought the then relatively unknown style into the mainstream for most Americans. Though they’re big now, their initial reception was lukewarm at best.
Of course, nowadays hipsters and younger rock fans love the band — almost 60 years after they first formed — but before they were big on the scene, it was mostly just underground fans. Like this man’s mother at 18 back in 1982, rocking out in a Fleetwood Mac tanktop.
