Back in 1947, the beaches weren’t full of sunbathers as the sand was overrun with motorbikes instead. Tannum Sands Beach is found in Queensland, Australia, and a convoy of bikes decided to get a ride in.
Apparently, it was all part of a sports activity that had been set up by the Tannum Progress Association. However, you’d probably never see a group of young people riding a motorbike in nothing but their swimsuits nowadays, but it sure does look like good fun.
