Many people dream of becoming a nurse or doctor. It turns out that getting your foot on the medical career ladder takes years of studying, lots of hands-on experience, and a ton of dedication. Still, it’s all worth it in the end.
However, things once involved a lot more practice than we thought. Someone’s mom was busy learning how to become a medic for the Red Cross in the 1940s. She started by learning how to wrap up a soldier’s head with bandages, and it was all up from there.
