After setting a brand new Olympic record in the team sprint at the 2012 Olympics in London, Victoria Pendleton announced that she would be retiring from the world of track cycling. However, she wasn’t done with her sports career just yet. In 2015, Pendleton announced that she would be making her debut as a professional jockey. After just a year of training, Victoria won her first professional race! Nowadays, she spends most of her time on a horse rather than a bicycle and spends her retirement trying any new sport that comes her way.
