Big Ben’s first Super Bowl was not won on the back of his throwing arm. In fact, he had a terrible game, in which he only threw for 123 yards on the day. In the end, a star-studded defense, led by safety Troy Polamalu held the Seahawks in check all night. And the Steelers were able to get a big game out of eventual MVP Hines Ward, who caught a 43-yard touchdown from fellow receiver Antwaan Randle El, on a fourth quarter trick play.
