Unfortunately, it looks as though Rocco isn’t the only pit bull to have suffered this fate over the years. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have worrying news about the breed. They have confirmed that pit bulls as the “most abused dogs on Earth.”

Many owners breed pit bulls cheaply and raise them to become free burglar alarms or bodyguards. However, they are soon abandoned whenever they are injured or sick. Sadly, that doesn’t seem to be the worst for these dogs.
