Rachel wasn’t thinking about what other people would think. She originally didn’t think anyone was going to watch it! She simply spoke what she felt, which was that the organizers of the charity run should find places for them to run that don’t interfere with everyone else’s daily life. That’s it.
She wasn’t saying that she doesn’t appreciate the runners – she simply wishes the organizers would be more considerate when setting things up – and maybe after this, they will.
