Just like all Fierce Five members, Jordyn Wieber, a Michigan native, rose to celebrity status after the Olympics. In 2013, she signed a sponsorship deal with Adidas Gymnastics, and in the same fall entered UCLA as a freshmen. She studied psychology.
She announced her official retirement in March, 2015, the first Fierce Five member to retire from gymnastics. Wieber is an assistant coach at her university. Wieber is known for her high-difficulty, power routines, and her steady rise during her Junior and amateur career.
