Megan Rapinoe was a member of the 2012 American women’s soccer Olympic team, a midfielder/winger and all-american NCSAA who, along with her team members, led the group to gold in FIFA 2014, 2015 – as well as in the Olympics.
She grew up and California and has been playing soccer since elementary school, coached initially by her father, and then went on to play for the Portland Pilots while attending the University of Portland on a full scholarship. She has a twin sister, Rachael, also a soccer player.
