[post_page_title]LeBron James[/post_page_title]
Three-time NBA champion LeBron James comes in second on the list, behind one of the most popular and well known athletes of all time. James re-signed with the Cavs after winning the title in 2016, a deal worth $100 million over three years. The King earned $31 million this past season alone, and became only the third player in the league to earn more than $30 million in a single season (the other two: Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant). He has endorsement deals with Coca-Cola, Nike (a lifetime deal worth a billion dollars), Verizon, Kia and Intel just to name a few.
