Another example of a wrestler’s career that kind of went south due in part to the antics of John Cena is that of Michael Tarver. When he started out, he was on a squad known as the Nexus, and they looked like a very promising bunch, especially Tarver. But a little into his career, he received a pestering neck injury during a rough incident with Cena, one that would prevent him from ever being able to receive stiff chair shots – something that certainly affected his career.
