These athletes were drafted by the MLB but played in different leagues

Johnny Manziel was drafted by both the Cleveland Browns and the San Diego Padres a month apart in 2014. The former NFL quarterback played baseball in high school and was listed as a shortstop at Texas A&M, but reportedly didn’t play so that he could focus on football. The Padres selected Johnny Football in the 28th round, at no. 837, but of course, he opted to head for a football career in Cleveland. We all know what happened there though, and that Johnny is currently watching both leagues from the couch.
