Pat Connaughton of the Portland Trail Blazers was drafted twice in to the MLB and even spent a season in the minors. The shooting guard/pitcher was drafted by the Padres during the 38th round of the 2011 draft and then again by the Orioles during the 4th round of the 2014 draft. He played a short stint with an Orioles’ affiliate before concentrating on basketball. In 2015, he was taken 41st overall by the Brooklyn Nets, but his draft rights were traded to the Blazers, where he’s playing limited minutes.
