But Major League Baseball could have had two Matt Moores, as the latter was selected during the 22nd round of the 2004 draft by the LA Angels. Moore (football Moore), played baseball in high school but chose to focus on football, playing for Oregon State. In fact, Moore wasn’t even drafted into the NFL, the quarterback signed as an undrafted free agent.
