Kaepernick was drafted by the Chicago Cubs during the 43rd round of the 2009 MLB draft, but opted to stay at the University of Nevada. Two years later, in 2011, he was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers and became the team’s starting QB when Alex Smith was injured. Think any MLB team would be willing to pick him up?
