[post_page_title]Brett Favre’s consecutive starts[/post_page_title]
Brett Favre spent 16 seasons as the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, and was the starter during 15 of those seasons. He then became the starter for the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings. All together, Favre started 297 games between 1992 and 2010. The closest anyone got to his record was Peyton Manning, who started 208 consecutive games. Eli Manning has started 171 consecutive games of his own, but would need to start every game for the next eight seasons to pass Favre. Needless to say, it’s unlikely that any quarterback will ever break this record.
