The Boston Celtics dominated the NBA in the late 1950s, the ‘60s and into the ‘70s. We will likely never see another franchise go on such a run. From 1958-59 through 1965-66, the Celtics won eight straight championships. What made this era even more amazing was the fact that they had won 11 championships in 13 seasons. Bill Russell was a member of every single one of those championship team and the Celtics have only won six more championships since.
