Glenn Hall spent seven complete seasons in goal for the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks. He played 501 full games in a row, and we’re not even counting his postseason games. He was forced to leave game 502, and the consecutive games started streak ended on November 10, 1962, when Hall didn’t take the ice against the Montreal Canadiens because of a back injury. His streak is the longest for any goalie in the NHL’s history.
