That was the season that Brett Favre officially announced that he would be quitting the NFL. However, he quickly changed his mind and tried to get back on the Green Bay roster. They would not take him, so the New York Jets gave him a $100 million contract to play for them. He didn’t do so well however, and he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings. It would be while playing for the Vikings that he would beat the Green Bay Packers, becoming the only other person besides Peyton Manning to beat every NFL team.
