Although many mechanics will recommend changing your oil at a regular basis, you may not need to change it as often as you think.
It is always best to change your oil based on what it says in the owner’s manual schedule, which is always based on the number of miles driven and not time. So, if you don’t drive long distances, then you might be able to save a trip or two to the garage.
