I have one client who has some sort of emotional connection to her 1992 Saab. So much so, that she has spent thousands and thousands on getting it repaired despite me begging her not to.
I don’t know why, but she is convinced that her beat-up Saab will become a collector’s item one day because it is so ‘rare.’ No, it doesn’t work like that and you will only end up throwing your money away and eventually trading it in for a couple hundred bucks at most.
