Mechanics hate it when a customer comes in with a engine that was ‘cleaned out’ with soap and water. Pumping soapy water into the gas tank will in no way help clean your engine.
Yes, you might have a sparkling engine but it will also end up frozen and in the junkyard. Just please people, don’t ever ever try this at home. The result will not be pretty, believe me, I have seen it happen a few times.
