You really don’t have to freak out when your car overheats. One time a driver told me he tried to turn up his air conditioner in order to ‘chill’ out his vehicle.
In reality, this actually does quite the opposite and can cause your car to overheat even more. Instead, it is better to turn your heater on in order to tame the engine’s temp although the safest thing to do is to probably contact roadside assistance.
