I am so sick of seeing customers come into the shop with filthy, dusty, and dirty cars that have clearly not been washed in several months. One time I had someone tell me that they try to ‘save on water’ by letting the rain wash their car.
Um, sorry to break it to you but rain water is not the way to go about cleaning your car. If you go long periods between washes, your car will not only look dingy but it can also become prone to scratches due to embedded pollutants.
