Carly Patterson became a member of the USA Gymnastics Hall of fame for being the first American to ever win the Olympic gold medal for the all-around when she competed in the 2004 games in Athens.

Carly also brought home two Olympic silver medals for the team and balance beam categories. This all-star has a total of 7 medals, 4 golds, and 3 silvers. Carly retired from elite gymnastics in 2006 due to several bulging discs in her back.
