Watching the Olympic Games is inspiring because it shows us how far humans can go as a collective – not only in the grandness of the event itself, but in the spirit of sportsmanship and fellowship with one’s competitor.
We also love watching the Games because of how diverse humans are, individually. Here’s a photo that illustrates that. These are basketball pivot Nene, at 6 ft 11, and gymnast Flavia Saraiva, at 4 ft 9, the tallest and the shortest athlete of the Brazilian Delegation In Rio 2016. We’re all different, but we all can achieve greatness.
