On the right of this photo, we have an average modern man. On the left, we have the model of a Quetzalcoatlus northropi, a pterosaur known for being one of largest flying animals of all time. Scientists estimate that it was around 9.8 feet tall, with a wingspan that varied between 33 and 36 feet.
Just imagine yourself walking to the bus station on your way to work, and seeing one of those 550-pound beasts flying in your direction. Aren’t you happy now that dinosaurs went extinct?
