Probably the most important relationship in John Cena’s life before he met Nikki was his relationship with his high school sweetheart Elizabeth Huberdeau. She wasn’t a famous wrestler, but she clearly got John’s attention. In 2009, he announced in an interview that they would be getting married, while promoting his upcoming movie, “12 Rounds.” During this interview, he stated, “I’m gonna get married this year.” While this relationship seemed promising at the time, other events would ultimately lead to its downfall.
