Some losses are easier than others. Sometimes, we can be so emotionally invested in our craft that we have trouble coping when we come short. Even though John performed admirably in the match against The Rock, the loss would send him into a downward spiral. John even confessed to The Rock himself, “that match sent my life into a tailspin, both professionally and personally, because I could not get over my obsession with the fact that I had failed”.
