This new female bodyguard seems to have replaced Sergeant Bill Renshaw, who acted as Prince Harry’s head of security for years and retired after more than 30 years in the force. Renshaw wasn’t mere hired muscle, however.

While Harry is said to have always gotten along with his security officers, he developed a very close bond with Renshaw specifically. The officer even accompanied him to the infamous 2012 stag weekend in Las Vegas, and was invited to the prince’s wedding. He now runs a law enforcement consultancy firm.
