Meghan Markle will need more security now that she's expecting

The Queen is used to being protected at all times, but she was worried back in December 2017 after learning there were to be some changes to the way the security worked for the Royal Family.

The members of the family always had the same number of people with them over the years. However, it was how they were assigned that was all going to change. Queen Elizabeth II was worried this could lead to risks surrounding the family.

It turned out that it has always been the same team of bodyguards assigned from the SO14 Royalty and Diplomatic Protection department who had been in charge of protecting the Royal Family.

Now, the division wanted to choose names from a pool of people meaning it could be anyone assigned to the family. Thankfully, every member of the security team is used to protecting anyone from political people to the Royal Family meaning they were well trained for the job.
