In May of 2017, Michael Oher got into a violent altercation with an Uber driver who was driving him and several friends in Nashville. The two began yelling at each other when Oher stepped out of the car. The two men then continued arguing outside the car, and the driver allegedly tried to land a hand on Oher’s face. Michael then tackled the man and kicked him in the leg. Oher was then cited with misdemeanor assault.
