The Detroit Lions had one of their most successful seasons in 1991, unfortunately, this is when their offensive lineman, Mike Utley, had his career-ending injury. Mike was the starting right guard that season, and helped his team win in each game he played, apart from one in which they faced the Washington Redskins. The two teams met again later that year, during the NFC championship finals. This time, with Utley recovering from injury, the Lions lost again. With his passion and skill, Utley could well have turned the tide in the second game.
