Life didn’t start easy for Munn. The actress spent much of her early years moving from place to place after her mother married a man in the US Air Force. Although they were largely based in Tokyo, the constant relocation made it hard for Olivia to settle anywhere.

If that wasn’t enough, her stepfather was also reportedly abusive towards her and her family. While it wasn’t anything physical, his verbal attacks left Munn feeling utterly despondent. It prompted her to find somewhere away from home where she could spend her time.
