[post_page_title]They’re required to have a wedding fruitcake[/post_page_title]
One long-lived tradition is the wedding fruitcake – for centuries, it’s always been a fruitcake that’s served at a royal wedding, but in May 2018, at Harry and Meghan’s wedding, this was all change.
Instead of the somewhat outdated fruitcake, the couple instead requested a light sponge cake with an elderflower syrup to satisfy their guests’ sweet cravings. We’re pretty sure that this would have gone down much better. Does anyone still like fruitcake, by any chance?
