Another rule that Prince William has seemingly eradicated is the rule that no two heirs can travel long distances with each other. This, yet again, is a somewhat ancient rule, back when it was significantly riskier for two heirs to take the same boat, train, plane, etc.
However, these days, we’ve seen Prince William take many plane journeys with his son, Prince George. This is another example of how William is rightfully bringing traditional royal protocol into the age of a new generation.
